Dr. Gayle is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley School of Optometry. He has practiced in Brawley since 1988. Dr. Gayle is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Kiwanis Club of Brawley. Combining his love of travel and optometry, he has provided free eyecare to patients around the world through Help the World See and Lions in Sight. Countries in which he has participated in clinics include Mexico, the Philippines, Eritrea, Kenya, Guatemala, Belize, Nicaragua and Colombia.

Mr. Jose S. Grijalva

Jose is a U.S. Army veteran that proudly served his country for almost ten years. Jose is a graduate of Park University and received a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice Administration and Social Psychology, Cum Laude. Jose has been working at Dr. Gayle's office since 2007 as Assistant Office Manager and Optometric Technician. Jose's dedication on keeping our patients satisfied is beyond recognition, he will ensure your visit is a pleasant one. He works in a careful, diligent manner as he guides you through the pre-testing procedures for your exam. He performs preliminary tests such as eye refraction and tonometry. If you have questions or concerns bring them to his attention. He is certified in CPR and First Aid. He is bilingual in Spanish.

Ms. Jennifer C. Salorio

Jennifer has worked at Dr. Gayle's office since they opened in 2001, she brings over seven years of experience as an Optometric Technician and Receptionist. She works efficiently, training new contact lenses wearers in a calm and careful manner making our patients experience delightful. She also works guiding our patients with frame and color contact lense selection, to ensure our patients are satisfied with their visit. She is bilingual in Spanish.
